The SSC Exam stands for Staff Selection Commission. It is an organization that recruits candidates for various posts in different ministries and departments by the Government of India.

This commission was introduced on 04th November 1975, and back then, it was called "Subordinate Services Commission," but later on, it was re-designated as Staff Selection Commission on 26th September 1977.

This is the Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organization (CPO) exam.

The SSC CPO Exam is conducted to recruit candidates for various posts like Sub Inspector (SI)/ Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) in various organizations such as Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and BSF, CRPF, Delhi Police, etc.

In this position, Sub Inspector is the lowest-ranked as a first investigating officer who can file a charge sheet under the Indian Police Rules, but their subordinate can't file any charge sheet. They can only investigate cases on their behalf.

SSC Registration – How to Register of SSC Website?

 

As you know, SSC Registration is the first process to fill any application form of the Staff Selection Commission.

All the Government Exams need to fill the registration form every year and then continue the complete process of application. But SSC provides a facility to fill the registration form only once (You don't need to fill the form every year). After that, you can fill any SSC form such as CGL, CHSL, GD, MTS, etc., with the same details.

So below, we have mentioned the step-by-step procedure of SSC Registration. You should follow the process to fill the form to avoid any mistakes.

Step 1 - Go to the SSC Official Website (ssc.nic.in)

Step 2 – You will find the SSC Registration Link on the right side. (New User? Register Now) Click on it.

Step 3 – Now, fill the required basic details such as Aadhar Number, Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, 10th Class Board Name, Roll Number & Year of Passing, Gender, Level of Educational Qualification, Mobile Number, Email ID.

Step 4 – Check once again the details are correct or not and click on the Save button.

Note: - Your Mobile number and email ID should be correct so that you can receive your registration number and password from the Staff Selection Commission.

Step 5 – Now, you will receive the SSC Registration ID and password via mail and SMS. You have to change the password once and then continue the further process.

Step 6 – Fill the additional contact details and click on the Next button.

Step 7 – Photo and Signature Details: This is the last step of the SSC Registration. You have to submit a scanned color passport size recent photograph (20 KB to 50 KB) and signature (10 to 20 KB) in JPEG format.

Step 8 – Click on the Submit Button.

Step 9 – Now, SSC will send you OTP on your registered mobile number or email id. Fill the details and finally submit it.

Step 10 – You will receive a confirmation mail from ssc.nic.in of successful registration. You should save your SSC Registration ID and password for further use.
