As we all know the AAP leader, Arvind Kejriwal is the newly elected 8th chief minister of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal took oath At Ramleela Maidan, Delhi along with six AAP MLAs as Cabinet ministers.
LT Governor Dr Najeeb Jung administered the oath of office to the AAP Cabinet. These six cabinets are-
Manish Sisodia, Asim Ahmed Khan, Sandeep Kumar, Satyendra Jain, Gopal Rai, Jitender Singh Tomar.
Manish Sisodia sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister and he will handle education, urban development and PWD, the second most important departments as they need an interface with the Centre.
Asim Ahmed Khan sworn in as the new minister for Food and Civil Supply, Environment and Forest and Election departments. He will be handling all these departments in newly formed AAP government.
Sandeep Kumar sworn in as the minister for SC/ST Welfare and Women and Child Welfare. He will dedicatedly handling these departments in AAP government.
Satyendra Jain sworn in as the minister of Power, Health, Industries, Public Works, Irrigation, and Flood Control.
Gopal Rai will be handling the Transport, Rural Development, Labour, General Administration Department and Employment.
Jitnedra Singh Tomar is appointed as the minister of Home, Law, Art, Culture and Tourism Department.
AAP has created a history by sweeping 67 of the 70 seats.
