The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) commonly known as Pusa Institute is India’s premier national Institute for agricultural research, education and extension.

It is situated in Delhi, it is financed and administered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The IARI was responsible for the research leading to the “Green Revolution in India” of the 1970s.

Post Name – Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

 

Subject Area – Crop Improvement

 

Project Title – National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)

 

No. of vacancies – Two (2)

 

Salary – As Per ICAR Rules

 

Eligibility Criteria:

 

Educational Qualification – PhD or M.Sc. with 4/5 years B.Sc. with 1st division/60% marks/equivalent OGPA in Genetics/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Plant Physiology/Life Sciences with NET qualified and 2 years of Research Experience.

 

Preference – Experience on biotechnological techniques.

 

Age Limit – 35 Years

Subject Area – Natural Resource Management

 

Project Title – National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)

 

No. of vacancies – Four (4)

Eligibility Criteria:

 

Educational Qualification – PhD or M.Sc. with 4/5 B.Sc. or NET qualified in Environmental Science /Agronomy/Soil Science/Water Science /Life Sciences.

 

Preference – Experience on greenhouse gas emission/conservation agriculture/Soil and Plant Analysis.

 

Age Limit – 35 Years

Preference – Experience on Field experimentation, crop modeling, statistical Software.
