The CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, also known as CSIR NEERI Nagpur, is a research institute created and funded by Government of India. It was established in Nagpur in 1958 with focus on water supply, sewage disposal, communicable diseases and to some extent on industrial pollution and occupational diseases found common in post-independent India. NEERI is a pioneer laboratory in the field of environmental science and engineering and part of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
Post Name – Project Assistant Level III (PA L-III)
Project Title: –
1. Bioaccumulation of Trace Metals in Flora & Fauna due to backfilling of ash from Talcher Thermal Power Station in Mine Voids of South Balanda, NTPC Talcher, Odisha.
2. Environmental Examination of the proposed High Speed Rail Corridor in Kerala State.
No. of vacancies – Two (2)
Tenure of the Post – Purely Temporary basis
Salary – Rs. 18000 per month
Educational Qualification – M.Tech (Environmental Engineering) Or M.Sc (Microbiology) with 55% marks for General Category and 50% for SC/ST Category.
Preference – Experience in remote sensing analysis and GIS applications and microbial analysis of soil and water.
Age Limit – 32 years
