Finance Minister proposes to set up a Higher Education Finance Agency

While presenting budget 2016-2017 in Lok Sabha, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced to build the Higher Education Finance Agency with the allocation of INR 1000 crores for making this education industry more enlightening. This budget with help to build institutes like IITs.

Quality matters everywhere so to improve the quality of education. Finance Minister said “An enabling regulatory architecture will be provided to 10 public and 10 private institutions to emerge as world-class Teaching and Research Institutions. This will enhance affordable access to high quality education for ordinary Indians. A detailed scheme will be formulated,”

Arun Jaitley mentioned in his Budget speech that the government aims to skill one crore youth in the next three years under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
