Who can apply?
Candidates are required to fulfill certain conditions to take admission for this program.
Candidates should have a Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 55 % marks or equivalent grade point average.
Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA or CS with at least 55 % marks or equivalent grade point average.
Five year/four year Integrated Master’s degree program in any discipline, with at least 55 % marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
4 years/8 semester bachelor’s degree (B.E./B-Tech) with at least 60 % marks or equivalent grade point average
Those in their final year of Masters or Bachelor’s degree (B.E /B. Tech) in any discipline can also apply.
Candidates should not age more than 55 years.
How to Apply?
The candidates who fulfill all the above conditions may apply before 4th Feb 2016. They will have to download application form from the website and submit it to official address along with relevant documents.

Application Fee – INR 500/-
Mode of Payment - The fees should be paid through DD drawn in favor of Indian Institute of Management Raipur.
Course Fee – INR 36,000/-
The candidates receiving admission offer from IIM Raipur and accepting the offer within the stipulated date needs to send a non-refundable commitment fee along with Offer Acceptance Form.
If the candidates, later want to withdraw the offer then the offer acceptance amount will be refunded after deducting INR 1000/- as possessing charges.
Documents to be submitted-
Certified copies of School and University degrees.
Certified copies of mark sheets or transcripts of grades obtained during the course of study for the above degrees. Transcripts in languages other than Hindi and English must be submitted along with certified translations.
Two referees with their contact details and their respective email ids from academics who have taught the candidate or with whom the candidate has worked closely on scholarly work. However, the supervisor at work could write a reference if the candidate has been away from the university for long.

It is necessary that candidates applying for waiver must attach copies of both side of the grade sheet to ascertain the equivalence between the grading systems of other IIMs/universities/ Institutions, without which, the application for waiver will not be considered.

Applicants are evaluated on their past academic achievements, motivation and preparation for the program, letters of recommendation, scores on standard tests, and a personal interview with the faculty.
Test Score of CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF
The CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF percentile will be used for shortlisting candidates for PI. The tentative category-wise minimum percentile is as follows-

The IIM Raipur Admission Committee will decide the number of candidates to be called for PI on the basis of short listed merit list prepared for each category and specialization.
However, if the actual number of shortlisted candidates were found to be less (more) than the required number of candidates to be called for PI category-wise, then the overall as well as section wise minimum score would be reduced (increased) to get the desired number of candidates.
After being shortlisted the candidates will have to appear for a personal interview at IIM Raipur in front of the Doctoral Research Committee (DRC).
The DRC will assess the suitability of the candidates for research work based on the portfolio of the candidate. The committee in particular will look into a consistently good academic record, professional accomplishments, research interest etc.

Criteria for getting selected will be as follows:Test Score : 20% Personal Interview ( PI) : 30% Reference Letter : 05% Academic and Work Experience : 45%
