Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal is an autonomous research and education institute in Bhauri, Bhopal district, Madhya Pradesh. It was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2008 in order to incorporate research in basic science at undergraduate and graduate level, with equal emphasis on higher education for research and education in science.

 

Job Details

 

Post offered: JRF Chemistry

 

Project Name: Developing Small Molecule Modulators of Signal Recognition Particle Function.

 

Funded by: Department of Science & Technology (DST)

 

Age Limit: below 30 years

 

Pay Scale: INR 25000+ HRA

 

Duration: 6 months (Can be extended up to 1 year subject to satisfactory performance).

 

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should have done M.Sc. in Chemistry (preferably with a specialization in organic chemistry) from a recognized University/Institute and having minimum 60% Marks or CGPA of 7.5 on a scale of 10. Previous experience in organic synthesis is desired.

Candidates must have qualified CSIR/UGC NET.

Candidates who have qualified GATE with a rank of 500 or better may also be considered.
