Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhubaneswar is an “engineering and technology” higher education institute, located at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011 which establishes the eight new IITs as well as declares IT-BHU as Indian Institute of Technology.
Post Name – Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Project Name – Establishment of Coastal Ocean Observatory at the Innovation Centre for Climate Change (IC3) and Capacity.
No. of vacancies – Thirteen (13)
Tenure of the Post – Initially for one year and extendable based on satisfactory performance of the candidates.
Salary – Rs. 25,000/‐ p.m. + HRA
Educational Qualification – M.Sc. with 1st Class in Physics/ Ocean Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Mathematics with a consistently good academic record and Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry at UG level.
Preference – Candidates with GATE/CSIR-NET qualification.
