Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (also known as IITGN) is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

IIT Gandhinagar was established in 2008 along with seven other new IITs.

The first batch of students were admitted in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Educational Qualification – The candidates must have a B-Tech/M.Sc. degree in concerned fields with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
