(A). Post offered: Junior Research Fellow

1. Project Code: SB/S3/EECE/0200/2015

2. Project Name: “Towards ultra-thin optical wave front manipulation devices based on all-dielectric high-efficiency transmissive meta surfaces”

3. Department: Electrical Engineering

4. Total vacancies: 01

5. Duration: 6 Months

6. Pay Scale: INR 25000 pm

7. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have done ME/M. Tech./MS/MSc in Electrical Engineering/Physics/Applied Physics/Nanotechnology and other related disciplines with NET qualifications.

Candidates with prior coursework and/or project experience in the fields of optics, photonics, electromagnetic theory and antennas.

Experience in laser spectroscopy and optical bench experiments.

Basic knowledge of computational electromagnetics (HFSS, CST, COMSOL).

Good programming background (MATLAB, C/C++, python, linux) are preferred.

6. Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done Ph. D. in Chemistry/ Physics/ Electrical Engineering and other related discipline from a reputed institute with at least one first author paper published in peer-reviewed international journal.

Candidates with expertise in optics and microscopy.

Good programming background (MATLAB, C/C++, python etc)


Experience in LabVIEW programming will be very useful.

Experience in fabrication (lithography) and synthesis of metal nanoparticles and their assemblies.

Experience in plasmonics/nanophotonics.
