Hello Arvind, Yes, you can apply for IIT JAM Exam. IIT-B is very lenient in subject-requirement and many students have actually got admission in Physics courses after BTech. So, hopefully you'd get admission too. One of the AIR-3 student Vaibhav has shared his experience with us, read this - https://scoop.eduncle.com/iit-jam-topper-vaibhav-sharma

HellO Atul, Greetings from Eduncle! To appear for JAM 2017 you need to firstly clear all your backlogs and attain all the related certificates which prove your eligibility for the same. Secondly, rounding off can be understood from this clause stated in the JAM brochure; At least 55% aggregate marks, without rounding off, (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for General/OBC-NCL Category Candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks, without rounding off, (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC/ST and PwD Category Candidates in the qualifying degree. Hope this helps! Kind Regards, Eduncle Team
