IIT Jodhpur PhD AdmissionsIndian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur is encouraging candidates to pursue PhD from the institute. The candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions may apply for the December session on or before 15th Nov 2015.

Application Process

The candidates may submit the print out of online application form to official address along with relevant documents.

Fee – INR 300 for General and OBC, INR 150 for ST/SC/PWD.

The candidates applying for the course must have a Master’s degree in relevant field with at least 60%.

They should have valid GATE, CSIR, UGC or NBHM score card.

4. Selection Process – Written Test and Interview.

For the Semester commencing in December 2015, applications are invited in the following departments-


Material Chemistry and Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Computational Bio-Physical Chemistry.

Electrical Engineering

Signal Processing, 3-D/4-D Reconstruction of Images, Semiconductor Devices, Sensors, Device-Circuit Co-design, Control Theory, Real Time Scheduling and Computer Networks.

Humanities and Social Sciences

English (Literature and Environment/Ecocriticism, American, British and Indian Environmental Literatures / Ecocriticism), Philosophy (Applied Ethics, Sustainability Studies, Ethics and Technology, Cognitive Studies).


Image Processing and Wavelet Analysis, Dynamical Systems, Differential Equations and Discrete Dynamical Systems.

Mechanical Engineering

CAD/CAM, Machining Science, Vibrations, CFD and Robotics.
