The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (commonly known as IIT Kanpur or IITK) is a public research college located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It was declared to be Institute of National Importance by Government of India under IIT Act.

Established in 1959 as one of the first Indian Institutes of Technology, the institute was created with the assistance of a consortium of nine US research universities as part of the Kanpur Indo-American Program (KIAP).

4. Eligibility Conditions

Educational Qualification

(i). For Project Associate and Project Engineer

B-Tech with strong programming knowledge in one of-

PHP or Java or C / C++ or Node.js / related JavaScript framework.

 Hands-on experience of relational/No-SQL databases like MySQL, MongoDb

 Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML/DHTML, CSS and XML technologies such as Xerces, XPATH and XSLT

 Must be proficient in HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery

 Hands-on experience working with Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Nginx

 Will be working with multiple teams to align long term initiatives in project life cycles from conception, requirement formulation, to design, implementation and delivery

 Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

(ii). For Senior Project Associate

The applying candidates should have done M.Sc. (Geology) with 1 year exp. In remote sensing and GIS.

Desirable

Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in more than one technology

 Codeigniter/Laravel experience preferred but not mandatory

 Strong understanding of SOA, secured protocols (HTTPS), data formats (XML, JSON), performance scaling, and transactional data consistency

 Experience with version-control (SVN, CVS or similar)

 Good knowledge of Bootstrap Framework

 In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js, React.js, and other JavaScript frameworks and libraries

 Develop web applications using CMS theming and plugin development experience (can be WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Drupal)

 Strong object-oriented programming skills & SDLC.
