IIT Mumbai publishes report statistics for JEE Advanced 2015 | Rajasthan rules the list

IIT Mumbai report for JEE Advanced 2015IIT Mumbai has released a report for IIT JEE Advance 2015 qualified students!

As per this report, Rajasthan topped in all the states for cracking IIT’s entrance exam. Total of 19.7% students who belong to Rajasthan, secured seats in prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology.

Another Interesting fact is that, 25% of seats were secured by students from rural areas and most of the students who scored really well in the exam have studies in Kota.

The JEE qualified students were allocated total 9974 seats, in which 1965 students were from Rajasthan.

In the rankings of States who bagged top positions in JEE Advance 2015 Results, Uttar Pradesh stands at the second position with 1259 qualifying students.

Andhra Pradesh who has already topped the JEE qualified states rankings, is standing with 776 students this time. Telangana is also there in the list with 770 students who secured seats in JEE score accepting colleges.

As per the statistics, Girls secured 900 seats (9.03% in 2015 and 8% in 2014).

Students belonging to rural areas or belonging to low earning families have achieved IIT’s without having much study sources and money as well.
