IIT-ROPAR Invites Application for the JRF in "Department of Chemical Engineering "

Department of Chemical Engineering , Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar has Invited Applications for the Post of Junior Research Fellow for SERB Sponsored Project Entitled As:

"A Combined Effect of Complexation Behavior of Biopolymers and Self-Assembly behavior of Oppositely Charged Particles (OCPs) to Influence the Stabilization of Water-in-Water (W/W) Pickering Emulsion"

1) Number of Positions - 01 for Junior Research Fellow.

2) Essential Qualifications - 
i) Master's Degree in Chemical/ Material/ Petroleum/ Polymer/ Bio Engineering/Technology.

ii) Master's Degree by Research in Chemical/ Material/ Petroleum / Polymer / Bio Engineering/Technology with a GATE or CSIR-UGC NET Qualified Score.

iii) Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks (or 6.5 Grade Point out of 10) (55% marks for SC/ST) in their Master's. 

3) Desirable Qualifications -
i) Work experience in the area of synthesis of nanoparticles, polymeric colloids, rheology of dispersions, etc. will get an advantage.

4) Fellowship - Rs.31000/- per month as per DST norms.

5) How to Apply - 
a) The applicant must send all the required documents in a single PDF file to mani@iitrpr.ac.in (Dr. Manigandan). 

b) Candidates shall bring along with them the duly filled in application form and original certificates at the time of interview for verification.

6) Last Date to Apply - Feburary 10, 2020.

7) Interview Date - First week of March.

8) Selection Process - By Walk-In-Interview.
