Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) is a premier scientific institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India devoted to research and development activities in the areas of Magnetic Confinement fusion, Basic Plasma Physics and Industrial applications of plasmas, leading to the award of Ph.D. degree under Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI).

Funding Agency – Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI)


Salary – Rs.28000/- per month


Eligibility Criteria:


Educational Qualification – Candidates should possess M.E./M.Tech. Or equivalent degree in Nuclear Engineering / Nuclear Science & Technology disciplines with minimum 60% marks OR equivalent CGPI in M.E/M.Tech. Students should also have minimum 60% marks in their graduate/postgraduate degree.


Age Limit – 28 years
