PPSC Recruitment 2015 | Apply before 25th Feb


The Punjab Public Service Commission has released a recruitment notification for 118 posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division) Cum Judicial Magistrate.

The candidates who want to apply will have to appear in The Punjab Civil Service Examination 2014-2015 which is to be conducted jointly by the Punjab Public Service Commission and Hon’ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

(i). The candidates applying for this job must have a bachelor’s degree in law from any recognized university.

(ii). Or he/she should have a bachelor degree of Laws of Punjab University, The Dacca University, The Tribhuwan University, Nepal, The Sind University or of The Rangoon or Mandalay University in Burma.

(iii). Or he/she should be a Barrister of England or Ireland or member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland.

2. Age Limit

Candidate’s age should not be below 21 years and above 37 years as on 25th Feb, 2015.

How to Apply?

The candidates who fulfil eligibility criteria will have to fill the OMR application form to apply for the exam.

The candidates can collect OMR Application form from PPSC’s reception counter or by post from 21st January, 2015 onwards. After filling the application form appropriately, candidates are required to send it along with relevant certificates.

Selection Process

Candidate’s selection will be based on Prelim’s & Main Examination and Viva Voce.

Selection candidates will be offered with the pay scale of INR 27,700-44,770.
