PGDM-C is the flagship course of MICA, Ahmedabad. The course offers specializations in Marketing Research, Digital Communication Management, Brand Management, Media Management and Advertising Management.It is equivalent to an MBA.

MICA, Ahmedabad will be conducting MICAT 2015 for admission to its Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications (PGDM-C) 2015-17 batch.

Important dates:

MICAT registration closes: 18th January 2015
Application fee payment closure date: 18th January 2015
MICAT 2015 to be held on 15th February 2015

 Eligibility Criteria:

1. Any Bachelor’s degree

2. Candidates should apply to MICA with their scores of CAT2014 / XAT2014 /XAT2015 / MAT2014 (Feb/May/ Sept/Dec) / CMAT2014 (Feb / Sept) / ATMA2014 (Feb/May/July) / GMAT (2011 onwards)

 What is the admission criterion for MICA 2014-2016?

The admission process is divided into two stages:

Stage I: The MICAT stage- Students who have appeared for any of the following exams – CAT 2013, XAT (2013, 2014), GMAT (2010 onwards), ATMA 2013, CMAT (Sept 2013), MAT (Feb, May, Sept, Dec 2013), will be allowed to take MICAT 2014.

Stage II: The GE/PI stage: On the basis of their performance in the MICAT only, students will be shortlisted to appear for the Group Exercise and Personal Interview stage (held in the MICA campus).

 Pattern of MICAT, GE and PI

Paper-I
The MICAT has been designed comprehensively to assess namely, analytical ability, verbal ability, logical reasoning, divergent thinking, written communication skills, creativity potential and general awareness about contemporary social and industry related issues, including areas covering media, marketing, advertising and business.

Paper II:
Paper II of the exam consists of a Psychometric Test. All the questions are compulsory.

GE and PI:
GE and PI – These consist of a series of interactions with the candidates on campus, to assess their suitability for the Strategic Marketing and Communication driven industry sectors. This does not require any prior preparation.

 Application Fee & Exam Centers

MICAT will be held at the following centres:

Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.

MICAT Application Fee is Rs. 1875/-
