Symbiosis School of Biomedical Sciences (SSBS) invites applicants to be recruited on the prestigious research positions of Junior Research Fellow or Project Associate.

The SSBS was established as a new initiative of Symbiosis International University (SIU) under the Faculty of Health and Biomedical Sciences (FOHBS) to address the need for a school devoted to training, research and development in the field of biomedical sciences.

JRF/PA – 2 Posts

JRF – 1 Post

 

4. Educational Qualification

The candidates must have completed M.Sc. or M.Tech Biotechnology or M.Sc. Biochemistry / Chemistry/Physics/Botany/Zoology/Microbiology or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks/equivalent grade.

 

5. Experience

The candidates should have a Research experience in Biochemistry, Biomaterials, Nanomaterials fabrication and engineering and especially Enzymology, Nanofibers and Bioanalytical techniques.

 

6. Desirable

The candidates having qualification in national level tests like CSIR-UGC NET/GATE etc will be preferable for the concerned posts.

 

7. Fellowship

For JRF/PA – INR 16,000 (for 1st Year) and INR 17,000 (for 2nd Year)

 For JRF – INR 25,000

 

8. Job Tenure

For JRF/PA – 2 Years (Extendable to 1 one year)

 For JRF -3 Years

The print out of the prescribed application form sent by email signed and dated by the applicant along with recent passport size photograph and photocopies of relevant certificates and other testimonials in support of age, qualification, caste, experience etc. will be collected at the time of interview. Applicant must bring all the original certificates at the time of interview for the purpose of verification, along with one set of photocopies.
