5 Useful Last Minute Tips for XAT 2015

XAT 2015 will be held on January 4, 2015. The exam is conducted every year by XLRI Jamshedpur. Here are some last minute tips which will be very helpful for the students who will appear for XAT 2015 exam:

Don’t forget the Admit Card – The most important of all, for XAT 2015, you have to carry 2 hard copies of the XAT 2015 admit card with passport size photograph pasted in the space provided in one of them. If you have not scanned the recent photograph in your application form, please carry one with you.

Do not sign on the space provided as it has to be done only in the presence of the invigilator.

Your Valid Photo Identity Card – You need to carry your original and valid photo-ID card including any one of these, PAN Card or Voter ID Card or Passport or Driving License etc.

Recommended: Carry at least 2 photo identity card and 2 xerox copy of each photo identity.

Things to and not to carry - You have to carry two blue or black ball point pens for marking your answers in the OMR sheet.

Students are not permitted to carry mobile phones, calculators or similar electronic equipments, books, papers, notebooks etc. at the examination center

Be on time – The candidates are advised to reach at least half an hour prior to the exam . Since the exam will start from 10.30 am, you have to report by 9.30 am.

Don’t indulge yourself in a particular question for long – Always remember “Time is the key to success”. Learn to manage your time. Try to solve a question with maximum speed, allotting a very little time to it. Don’t spend too much time on a particular question, it’s better to move on and solve other questions. Try to attempt section first which you can do very fast. Don’t try to attempt the questions which you don’t know or don’t know to solve. Keep negative marking policy always in your mind.

Don’t forget to take proper sleep & rest on previous night of the exam.
