Are you Eligible for IBPS SO 2022? Know Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility criteria for various positions offered through the IBPS specialist officer exam is different It can be broadly divided into three aspects i.e. Nationality, Age limit, and Educational qualification.
Candidates must ensure if they fulfill all the criteria to be eligible for the IBPS SO recruitment process as per the norms. Here we have discussed the IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria as follows:
IBPS SO Nationality:
To be eligible for the IBPS SO Exam 2022 candidates must be either:
A citizen of India Or
A citizen of Nepal Or
A subject of Bhutan Or
A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India Or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note- The candidates of above-mentioned categories (except the citizens of India) should have the valid certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
IBPS SO Age Limit:
According to the IBPS SO Notification, the candidates must be minimum 20 years of the age and maximum 30 years of the age.
There are age relaxations of upper age limit for the reserved category candidates applicable as per the government norms as given below:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwD: 10 years
Ex-servicemen: 5 years
Persons domiciled in J&K state: 5 years (During 1-1-80 to 31-12-89 period)
Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years

IBPS SO Qualification for IT Officer
The aspirants must have completed graduation or post-graduation in the IT related fields. For the IT officer candidate should have a qualification in one of the following field:

IBPS SO Qualification for Law Officer
Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in law (LLB) and must be enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council of India to be eligible for IBPS Law Officer.

IBPS SO Qualification for Rajbhasha Adhikari
For IBPS Rajbhasha Adhikari post, candidates are required to have one of the following degrees:
Post-graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.
Post-graduate degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level.
