The full form of IIT JAM is Joint Admission Test for Masters, which is conducted by one of the participating IITs (Indian Institute of Technology). The aspirants interested in pursuing a Master's programme from renowned Indian colleges like IITs, NITs, and IISc can apply for this exam.

Highlights of the IIT JAM Exam 2025
As per the latest update of the IIT JAM 2025 Exam, the Application Process will be Started from September 3 to October 11, 2024
Candidates have to first register on the JOAPS website, by providing their name, a valid e-mail address, an active mobile number, and setting a password.
Upon successful registration, the candidate's Enrollment ID and OTP will be sent to the e-mail address and mobile number provided by the candidate.
The candidate needs to use this Enrollment ID or e-mail address along with the password for submitting the application.
Candidates are advised to keep the Enrollment ID and the password safe and confidential.
Candidates will get the admission letter from their respective institute after PI reporting and completing all the formalities like payment of the balance fee and verification of documents.
Candidates allotted seats in the National Sports Round must upload their documents by August 2024

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
Each MCQ-type question has four choices, out of which only one choice is the correct answer.

Each MSQ question is similar to MCQ but with the difference that there may be one or more choice(s) correct out of the four given choices.
Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions

IIT JAM 2025 List of Admitting Institutes
