Hi Eduncle, I have confused a bit.. Just wanted to know the difference between CSIR NET and UGC NET. After checking everything, I felt that CSIR NET is for sciences and UGC NET is for all other subjects. Is it correct? Ten years back, I have done my Post Graduation in Physics. Will anyone be eligible for NET if he has one year back in MA......???what does the 'without rounding off' mean????
    Likes(0) Reply(1)
    Eduncle Team @Eduncle
Hello Sahab, Greetings from Eduncle! Thanks for sharing your query with us! Yes, you are eligible to appear for CBSE UGC NET Exam. Make sure you have cleared your back exam within 2 years of the Result Declaration of UGC NET Exam, otherwise your NET Qualification stands cancelled. The 'without rounding off' clause in the eligibility condition means - that if you have completed your Graduation with 54.88% marks, it won't be considered or rounded off to 55%, which is the minimum eligibility criteria for General Category candidates with 5% relaxation for OBC-NCL, ST and SC Category students. Hope the above information helps! Kind Regards, Eduncle Team
