How to calculate GATE marks 2020?

Calculating the GATE Score is a little bit complex process. To keep the process easy here we have come up with the proper way of explaining the process.

The GATE 2020 score is computed by using the following given formula.

In the above Formula

M: marks obtained by the candidate (actual marks for the single session papers and normalized marks for multi-session papers).

Mq: qualifying marks for the general candidate in the GATE paper.

it is the mean of marks of top 0.1% or top 10 (whichever is larger) of the candidates who appeared in the paper (in case of multi-session papers including all sessions).

Sq: 350, is the score assigned to Mq

St: 900, is the score assigned to

In the GATE 2020, the qualifying marks (Mq) for general category students in each subject will be 25 marks (out of 100) or µ + σ is the standard deviation of marks of all the candidates who appeared in the paper.
