      Hello Subhash,

      Greetings from Eduncle!

No, you are not eligible for appearing in the UGC NET Exam. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.

You can apply for GATE. I would be a better option.

      Greetings from Eduncle!

We are honored to have you with us! Thanks for sharing your query with Eduncle!

Sir, one of the most important eligibility criteria laid down by UGC NET officials is that the candidates can take the NET Exam for the subject they hold their Master’s Degree in. But as you had done your Bachelors in Travel and Tourism and MBA in Marketing, your candidature to apply for the same is not falling within the prescribed guidelines.

It would be helpful if you would list out the subjects you had in your MBA Semesters. We would be able to provide a more clear picture regarding your query!

      Kind Regards,
