UGC NET Subject List 2024 with Codes
The National Testing Agency conducts the UGC NET Exam in two Papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Recently, this year a new subject Ayurveda Biology has been added to the NET exam from December 2024 onwards to the existing list of subjects of UGC NET.
UGC NET Paper 1 is common for all the subjects and consist of general aptitude type questions, whereas Paper 2 is subject-specific related to the non-science stream like Arts, Humanities, Education, Management, etc. The official website includes 85 different subjects in UGC NET Paper 2.
