## CSIR NET Syllabus 2020 for All Subjects

National Testing Agency conducts the CSIR UGC NET Exam in 5 science stream subjects i.e. Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Earth Sciences.

The exam paper is divided into two parts i.e. General Aptitude and the subject that you opt.

## CSIR NET Exam Pattern 2020

Those who apply for the exam should start preparation as per the prescribed CSIR NET Paper Pattern. According to the scheme of test, the paper is divided into three sections i.e. – Part A, Part B & Part C.

Part A –

It is common for all subjects.

In this section, your talent is measured on the basis of your skills in General Science, Quantitative Reasoning & Analysis, and Research Aptitude.

From this section only MCQ Type questions will be asked.

Part B –

This part contains subject-related conventional MCQs with less difficulty level.

Part C –

In this part you have to solve higher value subject related questions that will test your scientific knowledge.

The questions are analytical in nature where you are required to apply scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution of the given scientific problem.

You will get a total of 3 hours to attempt all the three parts of Paper.
