GATE 2023 Notifications & Latest Changes
If you are appearing in the GATE 2023 Exam, then you must know all the important updates and notifications as per the officials. Following are the latest news for GATE Notification 2023:
As per the recent update, the extended period of filling the GATE Online application form for 2023 with late fees is till 14th October 2022.
The officials have extended the last date of filling out the GATE 2023 Application form to 07th October 2022 (without late fees).
The officials have opened up the rectification portal for candidates to rectify the defects in their applications. The portal will close on 20th October 2022.
The officials have newly added Ludhiana city in the IIT Roorkee zone as an exam center city. And had removed Puttur city from the IISc Banglore zone.
The candidates can now log in on the official website of GATE to fill out the online application form. The last date to register is 30th September 2022.
GATE officials have added some new cities for exam centres this year. Now the GATE exam will be conducted in 219 cities/towns.
New combinations of GATE subjects have been added this session. There is 82 combination of papers this session.
GATE Exam Pattern has been changed for Geology and Geophysics (GG), Humanities and social science(XH), & Life sciences (XL).
The officials have combined the syllabus for the XL, XH & XE paper codes. Previously it was released separately for all subjects. You can check the subject name along with the paper code for combined syllabus below
The GATE 2023 exam will be held on 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th February 2023.
The application form for 2023 session will be released on 30th August 2022. The last date to fill the form is 30th September 2022.
The GATE 2023 admit card will be released on 3rd January 2023 for all the candidates who will successfully apply for the exam.
The final result for 2023 exam will be declared on 16th March 2023.

This year, the exam will be conducted in 176 exam cities.

GATE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the GATE 2023 exam, you must ensure the eligibility criteria i.e., education qualification and age limit. You have to fulfill all the eligibility criteria to get registered for the exam.

Nationality- Indian and Foreign candidates are eligible.
GATE Age Limit- There is no age limit for GATE exam.
GATE 2023 Qualification- You should have cleared BE/B.Tech/B.Sc./B.com./B.Arch., M.Sc./M.A./MCA from a state /Central government-recognized institution. If you are pursuing the final year of a bachelor's or equivalent exam, then you are eligible to apply for the exam.

Graduate Aptitude Test is conducted in 8 zones (one IISc and 7 IITs) due to administrative purposes. You can choose three centers from the same zone.

GATE 2023 Answer Key
Answer keys provide you an idea about your marks and help you to know that you will select in the examination or not. The official will release the answer key 10-15 days after conducting the exam. You can easily download the key by login into the website.

As per the officials, the GATE 2022 result was declared on 17th March 2022 by IIT Kharagpur.

Admitting Institutes for GATE 2023 Exam
If you are pursuing MTech courses in IITs or IISc Bangalore, you are required to register in the COAP portal first.
All the GATE Exam Participating IITs and IISc Bangalore publish the seat allotment result on Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) portal.
For MTech courses at NITs and GFTIs, you can get Admission through the CCMT portal.
