🔔 As par latest notification, the NTA has released UGC NET Provisional Answer key 2024 for the Examination Conducted from August 21 to September 05, 2024, on the official website.

UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2024
The conducting authority of the exam sets some guidelines to appear in the exam known as Eligibility criteria. It is crucial to satisfy these criteria to apply for the exam.
The eligibility for the UGC NET Exam has been decided based on two major factors i.e., education qualification and age limit.
UGC NET Education Qualification 2024-
✔ If you have completed post-graduation or have enrolled for the master's, you can apply for this exam.
✔ Candidates require 55% percent marks in their Master’s Degree for the General/EWS category and 50% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ Transgender.
✔ Candidates require 75% percent marks in their 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree program.
✔ PhD degree holders can also apply for the UGC NET June 2024 Exam.
UGC NET 2024 Age Limit-
✔ There is no age restriction to appear for the UGC NET Assistant Professor post.
✔ If you want to apply for JRF, your maximum age should be 30 years.

Reservation Policy of the Government of India applies to NTA UGC According to this, in the Central Universities and Institutions that are deemed to be Universities, the reservation of seats shall be as follows:

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024
The UGC NET Paper Pattern of Exam 2024 gives you knowledge about the exam and an understanding of its methodology and marking scheme.
According to the UGC NET Exam Pattern, the test will consist of two papers (paper I & II).
NTA UGC NET Paper 1 is common for all candidates and contains 50 questions for total 100 marks. It is primarily designed to test your Research Aptitude and Teaching Aptitude (Methods of Teaching, Nature of Teaching, Factors affecting teaching, Evaluation system, Learner’s characteristics, Teaching aids).
Paper-II is based on the selected subject (the subject you opt for) and contains 100 questions for total 200 marks.

The National Testing Agency has released the Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City for UGC NET June 2024 to be conducted from on 21th August 2024 to 04 September 2024, on the official Website.

NTA UGC NET 2024 E-Certificate
Conducting the National Eligibility Test and providing the award of certificates and JRF to the qualified candidates is the responsibility of NTA (previously, the University Grants Commission was responsible for releasing the certificate).
The certificates will be issued for those candidates who will qualify for the NTA NET Exam. The validity of the JRF certificate award is three years from the date of issue. At the same time, it is valid for a lifetime for a lectureship. NTA Will released the E-Certificate for the UGC NET June 2024 after Exam result.
National Testing Agency takes 10 to 20 days to issue the certificates after the result declaration. With the certificate, you will get many benefits such as: -
