UGC NET Notification June 2020


NTA had released the important dates of June 2020 session on 16th March 2020. But as you all know, the COVID-19 is spreading too much in our country, and due to the requests of many students, National Testing Agency has postponed the exam. Currently, there is no such official notification released regarding the exam dates.

UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2020


The conducting authority of the exam sets some guidelines to appear in the exam which is Eligibility criteria. It is crucial to satisfy these criteria to apply for the exam.  

The eligibility for the UGC NET exam 2020 has been decided based on two major factors i.e. education qualification and age limit.



Education Qualification –


If you have completed post-graduation or enrolled for the masters then you can apply for this exam.

Candidates require 55% marks in their master’s degree for general/EWS category and 50% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ Transgender.

Ph.D. degree holders also apply for the UGC NET June 2020.



Age Limit –


There is no age restriction to appear in UGC NET for Assistant Professor.

If you want to apply for JRF then your age should be 30 years or less.

UGC NET Application Form 2020


UGC NET Application form is the first process to register for the exam. So, if you want to appear in the NTA NET 2020 then you should fulfill the most important formality of UGC NET Exam 2020 Online Application Submission.

Step 1 – Register for the UGC NET June 2020 Exam.

UGC NET Certificate


Conducting the National Eligibility Test and providing the award of certificates and JRF to the qualified candidates is the responsibility of NTA since December 2019 (previously the University Grants Commission was responsible for releasing the Certificate).

The certificates will be issued for those candidates who qualify the NTA UGC NET Exam 2020. The validity of the JRF certificate award is 3 years from the date of issue while for lectureship, it is valid for lifetime.

NTA takes 10 to 20 days to issue the certificates after the result declaration. With the certificate, you will get many benefits such as: -
