Below we have explained the detailed procedure for correction in UGC NET Form. Scroll down to get the important steps.
Step 1 – Firstly, you need to visit the official website of NTA UGC NET i.e. https://ntanet.nic.in.
Step 2 – Once you land on the official website, click on the ‘Application Form Correction’.
Step 3 – Now in the next step you will require to enter the respective login details like registration number, password and security pin to get logged in.
Step 4 – After logging in, you would be able to remove the discrepancy in your application form. Choose the field in which you require to make changes.
Step 5 – Before submitting the form, make sure that you had done all the essential changes and there should not be any place of mistake in the form again, otherwise officials have got the rights to reject your form.
Step 6 – At last take a printout of your UGC NET Corrected Form.
Important Note –
UGC NET Correction facility is only for those aspirants, who would have already submitted their UGC NET 2020 Application Form successfully. Candidates need to be paid the additional fee (wherever applicable) while correcting the form.
As per the official information, many discrepancies find in the photograph and signature that would be uploaded by the aspirants while submitting the form. However, NTA always mentions all the important instructions for uploading the images, still candidates upload the undetermined images.

Poor scanning of signature (nearly invisible) or small size of the image.
Due to spectacles hiding face/eyes.
Drawing lines or fancy circles instead of a proper signature.
Vertical signature and Horizontal photograph.
Due to not indicating the name of the candidate and date of taking the photograph.
