Those who wish to apply for the NET Exam can now grab the chance to fill up the UGC NET Online Application Form as per the given procedure and guidelines. The UGC NET Online Form submission process would be held in between 6th March to 5th April 2018. The candidates would be given an extra day for the fee submission.

The UGC NET aspirants are advised to keep the scanned documents like – Aadhar Card, photographs, signatures, mark sheets, certificates and unique id number along with them while applying online for the exam.
Before applying Online for UGC NET, you must carry following things with you. Here is the checklist :
Aadhar Card. As per the recently released notification, the official website of CBSE NET has declared the candidates who are having Aadhar Card identity will only be able to appear for UGC NET Exam.
Scanned Passport size Photograph & Signature.
Accredited documents that verify your educational qualification like 10th mark-sheet, 12th mark-sheet, Marksheet of Bachelor degree, Marksheet of Master’s degree(Most important), However, if your final result for Master’s degree is not declared at the time of filling online form you can mention it in form.
The Person with Disability (PwD) candidates should fill the relevant column in the online application form.
Application Fee for General category 1000 Rs., OBC 500 Rs. & ST/SC candidates 250/-. You will need a Debit card/ Credit Card for Payment of application fees if you are filling the form at your own.

Please follow the steps given below –
Step-I: Registration and Login Procedure
The aspirants will have to click on the following link to switch to the login and registration page.
The candidates who have already registered for the exam may login to the website and the new users may follow the registration process as given below.
After clicking on the apply online button, candidates will be switched to the instruction page where they have to read all the instructions and click on the check box to agree to certain conditions.
Click on ‘Proceed to Apply Online’ button and the CBSE UGC NET Online Application Form will appear on the screen.
Step-II: Fill Personal and Educational Details
The candidates may now fill all the personal and educational details in the application form.
While filling the application form, the candidates must keep in mind that the entries should be appropriate otherwise the form will be rejected.
Candidates may fill the form as follows-
The chosen password should be 8 to 13 characters long and it should contain at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one numeric value and one character symbol.
After when the candidates have filled the application forms, they will ask to review the details if they right or wrong?
If the details are filled accurately then the candidates may proceed to upload scanned photographs.
A message containing Application Number will appear on the screen. Please Note it down.

Step-III: Upload Photographs and Signature
The candidates may now proceed to next step of uploading scanned photo and signature or other required certificates-
The scanned images of photograph and Signature should be in jpg/jpeg format only.
Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 40 kb.
Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 30 kb.
Dimension of photograph image should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (Height) only.
Dimension of signature image should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (Height) only.
Now preview your uploaded photo and switch to next step.
Step-IV: Payment Procedure
The candidates may either apply online or offline.
The candidates who are paying the fee via Download and Print Bank Challan on A-4 size white paper sheet in landscape formation to submit fees at any branch of specified bank.
The candidates who are paying fee via debit card/credit card or any other online mode may follow as the below procedure.
Take the print of Online Application Form (one copy), Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admit Card(one copy) on separate A-4 size papers.
The candidates are required to submit the application form online only. They don’t need to send the hard copies of their online application forms to the exam convener institute.
