As per the recent news, National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the UGC NET 2020 Registration process from 16th March 2020.
So, the candidates who want to get a certificate for Assistant Professor or JRF and Assistant Professor must fulfill the online application form.
But before you start filling the form you must know all the important information related to it. Such as:
The NTA UGC NET aspirants are advised to keep the following documents before filling up the UGC NET 2020 Application Form: -
Valid government identity proof like Aadhar Card, Passport, Ration Card.
Scanned Passport size Photograph & Signature.
Documents that confirm your UGC NET Educational Qualification like Marksheet of master’s degree (Most important). However, if your final result for master’s degree is not declared at the time of filling online form, you can mention it in the form.

Please follow the steps given below -
Visit the NTA Official Website and click on “Fill Online Application Form” button.
If you have already registered for the exam, then you may log in to the website via application number & password. But if you are a new user, then you will have to click the “New Registration” button.
Now, you will be redirected to the instruction page. Read all the instructions carefully and click on the checkbox to agree the terms and conditions.
Click on “Click Here to Proceed” button. After this, UGC NET 2020 Application Form will appear on the screen.
Enter the details asked in the form and click on “Submit”. NTA will ask to confirm the details again, click on “Yes” and “Final Submit” to complete the registration form.
After completing the registration process, you will get a unique Application Number on your Email ID and Mobile Number. Now, you can use this number to login to the website to complete the application process.
Candidates will have to fill all the personal and educational details in the UGC NET application form and click on the “Submit” Button.
Note - The details must be appropriately filled otherwise your application form may get rejected.
After filling the details, you should recheck it. If you have submitted wrong details, then you can edit it by clicking on “Edit Application Data”.
Click on the “Final Submit” button to proceed further.
The candidates may now proceed to next step of uploading scanned photograph and signature.
Choose the file/document/picture from your device and click on the “Upload” button.
According to the official UGC NET notification, the photograph should be: -
In jpg/jpeg format only.
More than 10 kb and less than 200 kb.
Must have candidate's name and the date of day when picture was clicked.
The signature should be in running handwriting on white paper with black pen. The size should be more than 4kb but less than 30kb.
Now, candidates can click on “Proceed for Payment” to pay the fee.
Note - The fee payment procedure under UGC NET 2020 Apply Online is completely online through SBI /Syndicate/HDFC /ICICI Payment Gateways i.e. Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking/Paytm.
Select the bank by which you want to pay exam fee and click on the button and final submit the UGC NET Exam form. After making the payment, take the proof of fee paid.

Once your UGC NET application form is successfully submitted, take the printout for future reference.
The PwD (Person with Disability) candidates should fill the relevant column in the UGC NET 2020 application form.
The candidates are required to submit the application form through UGC NET 2020 Online mode only. They don't have to send the hard copies of their online application forms to the exam convener institute.
Keep the print/softcopy of online submitted UGC NET application with you, it will be required at the time of downloading UGC NET Admit Card.

Ans.) Once the application is submitted by the candidate, it can’t be canceled or withdrawn in any circumstances.
