Step 1 - UGC NET Registration
Visit the NTA Official Website and click on the “New Registration link of Online Application Form for UGC NET June 2025” button.
Note: If you have already registered for the exam, then you may log in to the website via application number & password. But if you are a new user, then you will have to click the “New Registration” button. Once you do that, you will be redirected to the Application Form page.
Enter the details asked in the application form and click on “Submit”. NTA will ask to confirm the details again, click on “Yes”, and “Final Submit” to complete the registration form.
After completing the registration process, you will get a unique application Number. Now, you can use this number to login to the website to complete the UGC NET online application process.

Step 2 - Fill Personal and Educational Details
You must fill all the personal and educational details in the application form and click on the “Submit” button.
After filling the details, recheck it. If you have submitted the wrong details, then edit it by clicking on “Edit Application Data”.
Note - The details must be appropriately filled otherwise your NET Exam Application Form may get rejected.
Step 3 - Upload Photographs and Signature
You have to upload a scanned photograph and signature. Choose the file/document/picture from your device and click on the “Upload” button.
According to the official UGC NET notification, the photograph should be: -
In jpg/jpeg format only.
More than 10 kb and less than 200 kb.
Must have the candidate's name and the date of the day when the picture was clicked.
The signature should be in running handwriting on white paper with a black pen. The size should be more than 4kb but less than 30kb.

Step 4 - Payment Procedure
Once all the steps have been completed you can “Proceed for Payment” to pay the fee.
Note -
Select the preferred payment mode: Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI.
Pay the application fee based on your category.
Save the transaction receipt for future reference.
Select the bank by which you want to pay the exam fee and click on the button to final submit the UGC NET Exam form. After making the payment, take the transaction receipt for future reference.

UGC NET Application Form: Important Points

The PwD (Person with Disability) candidates should fill the relevant column in the UGC NET 2025 Application Form
You are not required to send the hard copies of their online application forms to the exam convener institute.
Keep the print/softcopy of the online submitted UGC NET application with you, it will be required at the time of downloading UGC NET Admit Card.
The final submission of the online application requires the completion of step 2 and step 3. Forms with incomplete steps will face rejection and no correspondence on this account will be entertained.
You can submit only one application form.
