NTA NET June 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The NTA NET 2025 Eligibility depends on three major factors – Nationality , Educational Qualification & Age Limit Criteria. To apply for UGC NET 2025 June, candidates must meet specific academic and age requirements:
UGC NET Education Qualification
The students having a PG degree passed with 50% marks (ST/SC/OBC/PWD/Transgenders) or 55% marks (General) are eligible to appear in NET Exam.
Student have completed 8-semester/ 4-year bachelor’s degree programme with 75% aggregate marks from any universities, you can apply for this exam.
Final-year postgraduate students can also apply, provided they complete their degree within the stipulated timeframe.
UGC NET Age Limit for JRF & Assistant Professor
If you want to apply for JRF, you should not be more than 30 years.
There is no age restriction to appear for the Assistant Professor post.
For Admission to PhD there are no upper age limit criteria.
For Female Students of Any Category – 35 Years
SC/ST/OBC candidates get a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks and age limit.
