NTA is conducting the UGC NET 2024 exams for the posts of JRF and assistant professor in 83 subjects across the country. Recently, the authorities successfully conducted the exam in august respectively for some subjects.

UGC NET Exam Analysis 2024 (June) – Overview of the Exam
After being delayed many times, the NTA UGC NET Exam 2024 for Phase 1 has been finally conducted for all Subjects, through online mode (CBT).
UGC NET 2024 Exam phase-1 for all subjects was rescheduled from August 21 to September 4, 2024. The Phase-2 NET Exam will be conducted December 2024.
The Test consisted of 2 papers.
Both papers had objective-type questions.
Both the papers (Paper-I & II) were conducted in a single 3 hours duration (without any break).
The questions in Hindi & English except for other language subjects.
It was necessary to carry the admit card along with two photographs
Each question carried 2 marks.
There was no negative marking for wrong/unanswered questions.
All the questions were compulsory.
Candidates were allowed to leave the examination hall/room only after the test was over.
Major Highlights of the UGC NET 2024 Paper 1 Analysis
In 2024, General Paper 1 was Easy to moderate as compared to the last year.
Although the questions were tricky and lengthy, if you had your basics clear, you could get good marks in the exam.
Here are some of the major highlights of the NTA UGC NET June 2024 Exam:
As per the students' review, the overall difficulty of the UGC NET General Paper 1 was Easy to Moderate.
Almost 60% of the questions were based on theory, while 40% were Numerical type.
Some questions were pretty time-consuming and created a cognitive load on the student's brain to understand every term.

Students found some topics easy like Reading Comprehension, Mathematical Reasoning, Coding & Decoding, ICT, Ratio & Percentage, etc.

UGC NET Exam Analysis 2024 ( June Session)
Aspirants of the 2024 exam have provided a comprehensive analysis of Paper 1 and Paper 2.
In paper-I, questions were of generic nature, intending to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It was primarily designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
