Earlier, UGC used to take a long duration of 7-8 months to release the NET Certificates but keeping up the students’ requirements in mind, the HRD Ministry has now started an e-portal to provide these certificates to the students as soon as possible.

On qualifying the UGC NET Exam, the National Testing Agency issues the valid degree/certificate to appreciate the achievers. This is the authentic digital copy approved by the UGC that ensures that the candidate has qualified the NET Exam and is eligible for the award of JRF & Lectureship.
The candidates who own the UGC NET Certificates can apply to perform the Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professorship in any of the reputed Institutes across India.
The NET qualifiers can take advantage of the scholarship & fellowships offered by UGC after getting the certificate from NTA.
Note – Nobody else can own your UGC NET e-Certificate. It is completely safe & secured with the digital signature.
For the award of Junior Research Fellowship, the UGC NET Certificate remains valid for 3 years from the date of issue and for lectureship, it is valid for lifetime.
To download the UGC NET Dec 2019 Certificate without any mistake and problem, it is recommended to know the downloading process. Refer to the following step by step procedure.
Step-1: Visit the official website.
Step-2: Now in the Candidate Login Area, you will have to enter the required details like Roll Number or Application Number, Exam Session and Security Pin and then, click on the "Proceed" button.
Step-3: If you enter all the details correctly, the certificate will be displayed on the screen. You can save it in PDF format or print the same as per your choice.

Along with the request mail, candidates should also send the attested copies of following documents –
Copy of UGC NET June 2019 Admit Card and Result (Score Card).
Postgraduate Marks Sheet (All Semester/ Consolidated) and degree.
Certifications stating the University or degree affiliated to UGC or AIU at the time of your postgraduation enrolment.
SC/ST/PwD/OBC(NCL) Certificates (If Applicable)
Latest OBC (NCL) Certificate as per the Central list of NCBC (If applicable)
Certificate of Research Experience from the appropriate authority (if applicable)
Ex-serviceman/actual service certificate (if applicable)
All the certificates must be attested by a gazetted officer with his/her official stamp bearing his/her name, designation, and official address.
The certificates, which are in languages other than Hindi and English, may be translated in Hindi or English and attested by the issuing authority of the original certificates.
It is required to send all these documents in a single PDF file only.
The request mail should be addressed to “Senior Director, NTA Office”.
All the documents should be arranged in the same order as mentioned above.
The attached documents should be easily visible.

Important Instruction: Read the UGC NET Eligibility Criteria carefully! If you don’t fulfil the criteria even after qualifying the exam, your candidature may be cancelled.
