To qualify for UGC NET 2024, candidates must meet the minimum qualifying marks set by the NTA. For the General category, candidates need at least 40% aggregate marks across both Paper 1 and Paper 2. For candidates belonging to reserved categories, the minimum qualifying marks are 35%.

Ques 1- How to calculate expected Cut Off Marks?
Ans- To calculate the UGC NET expected cut off marks, follow the given example:
Suppose, the cut off marks for the UGC NET 2024 session for Economics (General Category) is 72.
Just add and minus 2 from the previous year’s cut off and you will get the current year expected cut-off range.
So, 70-74 will be the expected cut off for UGC NET 2024 session.

Ans- Usually, NTA releases a cut-off list for the UGC NET exam within 15-20 days of the final exam. The last exam date was 21th August to 04th September 2024 and the cut-off has been released by NTA on 17th october 2024.
