UGC NET Sociology Eligibility

 

As per the basic Criteria of UGC NET Eligibility, the students must have a valid PG degree in Sociology or related subjects with at least 50% (ST/SC/OBC/PWD/Transgender) or 55% (General) marks.

 

The age limit of UGC NET JRF students is 30 years for general & 36 years for all others. For the lectureship exam, there are no age limit criteria.

UGC NET Sociology Exam Pattern

 

Having complete knowledge of the UGC NET Paper pattern is one of the most important parts than any other.

 There will be a total of 150 questions (50 in Paper I and 100 in Paper-II).
