UGC NET Social Work: Eligibility Criteria!


UGC NET exam guidelines provided y NTA decides whether the aspirant is eligible or not to apply for the exam.


Aspirants have to deal with the following points to check their UGC NET Eligibility.


Masters’ in Social Work or related subjects with minimum 55% (For General) and 50% (For OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Transgender).

For NET JRF, the age limit is 30 years (For General). OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Female/Transgender candidates get the relaxation of 5 years.

To appear for Assistant Professor, there are no age limit criteria.



UGC NET Social Work 2020 Exam Pattern and Syllabus!

UGC NET Exam Pattern


There are two Papers in NTA NET Exam i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2.

There will be 150 MCQ’s type questions for total 200 Marks. All the questions are compulsory.

The exam will be conducted in a single 3 hours duration. There will be no break.

There is no Negative Marking in UGC NET Exam.
