UGC NET History 2021 Eligibility Criteria

 

NTA has certain guidelines that shortlist the aspirants for the UGC NET exam. If you want to appear for the History Exam, then it's essential to know these details.

UGC NET Eligibility Criteria is one of the major guidelines based on two major factors i.e. education qualification and age.

Minimum Qualification - Post-Graduation/equivalent degree in History or other related subjects with 55% (General) & 50% (ST/SC/PWD/OBC/Transgenders).

Maximum Age – You must be under 30 years (General) or 35 years (SC/ST/PWD/OBC/Females/Transgenders) to appear in the exam (for JRF).

Note: There is no age limit for an assistance professor job.

UGC NET History Exam Pattern for 2021

The UGC NET History Paper is divided into two papers -

Paper-I (General paper, common for all subjects)
