      You are not eligible to apply for applying to CBSE UGC NET Exam, as the minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC. The Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability(PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

      Yes, you can apply for CBSE UGC NET Exam Jan 2017. You will be treated in the result awaited category There are certain eligibility clause for such candidates which clearly state that “Such candidates must complete their P.G degree examination within two years from the date of NET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.”

      Apply before 23rd Nov’2016.

      CBSE NET and UGC NET are same exams. Earlier UGC used to conduct the NET Exam, but from Dec 2014 CBSE is conducting the NET Exam so it is called CBSE UGC NET Exam. The application process for Jan2017 CBSE NET Exam has been closed as the exam is on 22nd Jan. But you can apply for the June 2017 Exam.
      The application process for June 2017 exam will begin from April 2017. The official notification regarding the same will be released in March 2017.
