    subaltern studies originated in India with its leading figure Ranajit Guha, Partha Chatterjee and others. It was a radical literary movement aimed at studying history, literature, science and subjectivity from the viewpoint of subaltern or oppressed people. They derive their allegiance from a variety of Western scholars like Rosa Luxemburg, Michel Foucault etc and gave a new paradigm to view history through suppresses lens.

    answer is option B Subaltern Studies as Ranajit Guha and other historians from the SUBALTERN school came up with the idea of studying history from the point of view of the oppressed and suppressed. Later Gayatri Chakraborty Spivak also worked on the idea of the Subaltern.
