    as you can see in this solution you have value of energy levels is 6 but 2 of this is degenerate so we have to consider answer will be 5 . I hope you getting my point.

    the ground state energy level will split into three levels since in strong magnetic field the splitting will take place like in normal Zeeman effect since spin angular momentum and orbital angular momentum no longer be coupled in strong magnetic field.
