    mam here how we will understand that we have to take avg of percentage growth in decades...it is not mentioned to take out the avg of percentage growth

    yes mam that i know ..but only avg if decadal growth is mentioned not that percentage growth avg..so how we will understand

    For that you have to observe options which is given in percentage, if you take percentage of only 1961 and 2011 then it's around 600% which is not in option. So take average of all decades.

    But don't worry in exam clearly mentioned that what you have to calculate, In case not mentioned then use above trick.
