    Ni+2 show sp3 hybridisation so it have tetrahedral geometry. so it doesn't show GI while Pd2+ have dsp2 hybridisation having square planar geometry. so it show Cis trans two isomers. here is the explanation

    square planar give total 3 isomes = 2geometrical +1 optical isomer
