    For the 1st part just get the answer from any standard text book of Ststistical Mechanics ,whichever suits you most. You just need to know the derivation of the Fermi distribution with the suitable combinatorics involved. For the 2nd part, find out the two enrgy eigenvalues of the Hamiltonian. Let the two e8genvalues be E1 and E2,then the partition function is exp(-E1/kT)+exp(-E2/kT).
