30 pts A genetic crOss was made between homozygous wild-type males (a abbec) and triple- mutant females (aabbcc) of Drosophila melanogaster. Then the Fi males (a"ab"be"c) were back crossed to the triple-mutant females which resulted in the following F2 progenies: abc bc 115 abc 311 ab'c 64 + abc a'b'c abc abc Total 1000 The order of genes as determined from the above data was found to be "b ac" (note that the order is equivalent to "cab and the order of outside makers are arbitrary). The map distance between "b and c" is- centiMorgan (round off to I decimal place).
