Answer-4 stratified sampling Proportionate sampling is a sampling strategy (a method for gathering participants for a study) used when the population is composed of several subgroups that are vastly different in number. The number of participants from each subgroup is determined by their number relative to the entire population. Stratified random sampling is a method of sampling that involves the division of a population into smaller sub-groups known as strata. In  stratification, the strata are formed based on members' shared attributes or characteristics such as income or educational attainment. Stratified random sampling is also called proportional random sampling or quota random sampling.
