A river flows from north to south along a V-shaped valley with steep slopes ranging from 60-70. Ihe country rocks in the area are metamorphic, with a prominent fol1ation striking NIOE and dipping at an angle of 40 towards west. There is a proposal of road alignment.     1. Western bank of river will be suitable for the road construction. East bank will be very prone to landslides (because foliation is dipping towards west). For details refer to th...
