    Are u sure ? Because apex of triangle in the question and in this figure is different.

    X will be CALCITIC ROCK & Y will be DOLOMITIC limestone. I AM attaching a figure you just try to understand as it's is disoriented with the apices as given by questions.

    X is impure carbonate or, non-carbonate rocks Y is impure dolomitic Limestone Please refer to the attached figure for detail.
