    dear Nisha it is all about the parties one who is Consumer ,the victim and opposite party on which the case is filed. so for the first time the case is filed on local level /district leve within 10 days and if the case is not solved he can move to the upper court

    i also wanted to ask that since we read about two consumer protection act 1986 and 2019 ..so pecuniary limits of which act the jurisdiction is following currently...like value of good and service should not exceed in district forum ummm above 20 lakhs ..and in act of 2019 it is given 1crore

    nisha obviously the newer will be applied which was published in the official gazette on 9th August 2019. This New Act will replace the old Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (‘Old Act’).
