Among alkali metals, the strongest reducing agent in aqueous solution is (a) li (b) na (d) cs (c) k

the tendency to lose electrons decreases down the group. so Cs is supposed to be the strongest reducing agent. But how is Li the answer? please explain.

    lithium is strongest reducing agent because lithium have highest oxidizing potential among the alkaline metal. solar lithium have high tendency to oxidize itself and reduce others
